Mundo is a small, independent site. This page says plainly what we collect and what we do with it — no legal boilerplate.
Your email address and a hashed password (we never see the password itself), and whatever you put on your page — display name, tagline, photo, your sections, items, notes, and links. Your public page is public by design; everything else isn’t.
A session cookie to keep you signed in and a CSRF cookie to protect forms. That’s all. No analytics, no tracking pixels, no ad cookies.
When someone opens a shared link we count that it happened. The count stores no IP address, no browser details, and no identity — we track that a share happened, not who shared.
Your photo and the cover images on your page are stored on our server and served from our domain. Photos are resized on upload and we keep only the resized copy.
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, styling from Tailwind’s CDN, and a small script library from unpkg. Your browser fetches those directly, so those services see your IP address the way they would on most of the web. We send them nothing about your account.
When you search the catalogs (films, music, games, books), the search itself goes through our server — but the preview thumbnails in the results load directly from the catalogs’ image servers (TMDB, Apple, RAWG, Google) while you search. Once you pick something, we download its cover and serve it from our own domain from then on.
Email hello@yourmundo.app and we’ll delete your account and everything on it.
Sell your data, show you ads, or email you beyond account essentials like password resets.
Mundo is a pilot. If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it.
